"Tabitha Stevens Divorces Internet Hubby"
Atlas Multimedia owner and website designer Don Osterholt has filed for divorce from his porn star wife Tabitha Stevens. A source close to the couple and involved with Atlas Multimedia has said that the break-up was due to extra-marital affairs that Tabitha was involved in.
The toothy porn actress has moved out of the couple's home and is currently touring in dance clubs across the country. Further convoluting the story, Tabitha Stevens has recruited her ex-husband previous to Osterholt as her roadie while touring.
Previously, Stevens first husband had taken the legal copyright to Tabitha's stage name and sold it for $1.00 dollar to porn actress Amber Lynn, whom Tabitha's first husband started dating after the couple's divorce.
Although Osterholt and Tabitha have announced that they will continue to work together on Tabitha's website, Osterholt has been heard referring to his ex-wife as a "whore" and a "failure as a porn actress".
Since the break-up, Osterholt is reported to have taken up with semi-retired porn star Christy Canyon.
"Maybe They Should Have Called the Company 'Titanic Video'"
Renegade video company Extreme Associates has become a revolving door, with many of its employees abandoning the neophyte production house.
First to go was Public Relations man Mark Kulkis, leaving Extreme for the greener pastures as head of video production at Larry Flynt Publications.
Extreme replaced Kulkis with new Publicity Director David Clark, who then resigned to concentrate on a full time directing career.
Next to go, contract girls Chandler and Stryc-9 (now know as Cherry99 or Cherry Mirage) get "laid off" from work. Shortly thereafter, Stryc-9/Cherry99/Cherry Mirage lands on the doorstep of Max Hardcore who takes the youngish-looking newcomer into the fold.
While on a business trip in Brazil, Extreme honcho Rob Black sends word back to the U.S., firing contract starlet Tiffany Mynx. Fellow founder Van Damage follows suit and gives up his contract director deal with the company.
"Vivid Video Cleans House"
Noticably absent from this year's Consumer Electronics Show were many of the regular lineup of Vivid's contract players.
Apart from Janine, Julia Ann, Raylene, and Kobe Tai, many of the previous contractees, including perennials Dyanna Lauren, Taylor Hayes, Heather Hunter, Christy Canyon, and Leslie Glass, failed to put in an appearance at the massive Vivid booth.
The video giant, one of the first companies to utilize exclusive contract players, used the convention to unveil new girls the company has signed. Many of the new Vivid girls appeared to be of Hungarian descent.
When asked her opinion of the change in direction the company is taking, Vivid performer and sometime director Dyanna Lauren, replied, "I think Steve (Hirsch, Vivid's president) has lost his mind."
